The Historic Doctor John Ellis home was built in 1886 and was featured on "Ghost Hunters" in 2008. It is located on the historic loop just a short, 5 minute drive and 15 min walk from downtown. This amazing 3rd floor apartment has its own entrance with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a living space to gather, amazing views, and 1 parking space. A quiet retreat, but still close to all the fun! Discount offered when you book more than 2 nights. Hosted by the owners of Eureka Springs Coffee House.

This unit has been completely renovated, an amazing piece of property that was built in 1886 by Dr John Ellis who the first doctor at the Crescent Hotel. He was also instrumental in helping to build the infastructure in Eureka Springs at that time. There are 2 bedrooms, each with queen beds. There is a living space with a fridge, microwave, TV and coffee maker added for your convenience. The bathroom is split into 2 separate spaces, the "throne room" has a toilet and sink and the dressing room has a free-standing tub with a shower and dressing table. The access to the unit is up a back set of stairs with it's own entrance and a shared deck area. The hosts live on-site.

There is 1 parking spot on the property and the entrance is up the back stairway. You can easily take a 15 minute walk to downtown or the trolley stop is nearby and can take you to all the points of interest around town.

This home is located on the historic loop right next door to the Crescent hotel. There are 2 trolley stops within a short stroll. It is a short walk to White street where Ermilio's is located, several shops, and the White Street market. It is a short hike down to Spring Street and the shopping district.

This rental is next door to the Crescent hotel. It was featured in Season 2, episode 13 of the Ghost Hunters TV show when the GH crew came to film the Crescent Hotel. The owners of the Ellis house at that time had put together the Ghost tours at the hotel that are now one of our top tourist activities in town. The house is within walking distance to White Street where Ermilio's Italian restaurant and the Sat Morning Farmer's Market is located. It is on the historic loop and 1 block from 2 separate trolley stations that can take you around town. To walk to the downtown shopping district, you can take a paved, wooded trail that is about a 10-15 minute walk downhill and uphill on the way back. It is slightly challenging to walk back, but not too strenuous.

**There is an extra fee of $25 for a 5th person per night including children. We only have 2 beds, so a 5th person would have to sleep on the couch. Please request the extra bedding to make up the couch like a bed for use.**

The stairway to the rental on the back of the house is slightly narrow and the only access to the unit.

PLEASE NOTE: We just renovated the driveway and sidewalks so the trim work, flower beds, and railing are not completely finished. It should not effect your stay, but we want you to know we are still in the process of some renovations.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety percent (90.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Seventy-five percent (75.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
